In the first part of the decade we start to see very loosely fitted trousers. The “rise” (that is, crotch length), was very low. For the most part you don’t often see trousers “dressed up”, and if you do, it’s usually on the wealthy. In the second half of the 1930’s, women's trousers were here to stay!
